When you want the finest glass in the world, you must go to Venice. Venice, Italy, that is, where artisans who learned the craft at their father’s knee, just as their father did a generation before. Yes, the word “artisan” is perhaps overused at this point, but in Venice, it means everything. And the glass they produce is unparalleled in beauty, grace and quality.

For our Golightly fixture, we worked with some of Italy’s most coveted glass masters to create the glorious, taffy-like ribbons of glass, which they then lovingly drape into an organic, one-of-a-kind quilted pattern. Each globe takes 2 blowers working in complete harmony to create such a mesmerizing effect.
